BREATHWORK
90-minute guided sessions, online or in person in Austin, using the method I tested in the largest randomised controlled trial on CCB and anxiety to date.
Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is one of the strongest forms of breathwork there is. Meditation mostly produces calm. CCB reliably produces altered states of consciousness comparable to a moderate dose of psychedelics (Havenith et al., 2024), and those states are linked to better mental health outcomes, including lower anxiety and depression symptoms (Bahi et al., 2023; Aideyan et al., 2020).
My PhD ran the largest randomised controlled trial on CCB and anxiety to date. Six weekly online sessions produced a large, lasting drop in anxiety symptoms (Cohen's d = 1.44). The trial is published in the Journal of Affective Disorders.
I'm also an Oxygen Advantage certified instructor and trained in functional breathing, so sessions start with how you breathe day to day before anything more intense.
